😱 FINALLY: Anthony Finds Out the Truth About Kai’s DNA Test — Through His Lawyer!
The day started quiet — too quiet for Anthony’s liking. He was sitting in his truck, scrolling through his phone, when his lawyer, Mr. Daniels, called.
“Anthony, we need to talk. Face to face.”
The tone was sharp — the kind of tone that tells you the news isn’t going to be good.
Anthony drove to the lawyer’s office, already feeling that pit in his stomach. Shayla had been avoiding him for weeks. And every time he brought up Kai, she would change the subject or start an argument.
When Anthony walked in, Mr. Daniels didn’t waste time. He slid a manila envelope across the desk.
“Before you open that,” Daniels said, “you need to prepare yourself. This… changes everything.”
Anthony’s hands trembled as he pulled out the papers. DNA test results. His heart pounded so loud it drowned out every sound in the room.
“Probability of paternity: 0%.”
Anthony froze. His mind went blank, then flooded all at once. Zero percent? That meant Kai… wasn’t his son.
Daniels leaned forward. “Anthony, the test was done months ago. Shayla had these results. She didn’t tell you. In fact, I only found out because it came up in a legal matter I was handling for her.”
Anthony’s voice cracked. “She knew… this whole time?”
Daniels nodded grimly. “And there’s more. The real father… is someone close to you. Very close.”
Anthony’s head spun. Memories of every late-night argument, every time Shayla got defensive, every suspicious glance — they all made sense now.
He slammed the papers on the desk, stood up, and paced the room. “I’ve been raising Kai, loving him, thinking he’s mine. And she… she lied.”
Daniels placed a steadying hand on his shoulder. “The law can’t erase the bond you have with him, but it can protect you from further deception. You have a choice to make, Anthony. Walk away… or fight for the truth to be known.”
Anthony’s jaw clenched. “No. I’m not walking away. I’m going to Shayla’s house right now — and she’s going to tell me everything. Face to face.”
He stormed out, papers in hand, his truck roaring to life. The truth had been buried for too long. Now it was about to explode.
And somewhere, deep down… Anthony knew that once Shayla opened that door, life as they knew it would never be the same again.
